Hi, I'm Nick

I grew up surrounded by a family of makers. My mom is a talented crafter, my dad was a woodworker who could fix just about anything, my grandpa was a skilled carpenter, and my aunts and uncles were creative in all kinds of hands-on ways. My grandpa built countless pieces by hand, often collaborating with my mom, my dad, and my uncle Don, with much of that work sold at craft shows all over the state and later at my mom's own store in Fall Creek.

For a long time, I never saw myself doing the same kind of hard work with my hands. That changed in 2014 when my dad helped me build a small workbench in the garage. It didn't take long for me to get totally hooked - I built furniture for my apartment, then started taking on custom projects for family and friends. With help from my parents, I eventually had my own table at craft shows, selling the work I was making.

Shortly after getting started I opened an online store to expand my reach. I've been fortunate enough to ship my work all over the world, sell at local shops, and meet so many great people at markets and craft shows. Those in-person connections are some of my favorite parts of the job.

None of this would be possible without my family. My wife is an essential part of the operation - assisting with everything from tagging products and applying finishes to helping set up, tear down, and run the booth at shows. She's also the person I bounce every idea off of. My mom is always there too, offering advice from her years of experience and helping out at events. It's a family effort.

I love woodworking because of the joy (and challenge) that comes with making something by hand, and the endless opportunities for creativity with different wood species, colors, and grain patterns. Thank you to everyone who has supported me over the years - I couldn't do this without you.

True Wisconsin Work

Made by hand

Each piece is made by me in my workshop. No outsourcing or mass production, just hands-on work at the bench.

Quality materials

I work with carefully selected and locally sourced hardwoods that showcase the grain, warmth, and character of real wood.

Built to last

Form and function guide every decision. With proper care, these pieces are built to last for years to come.
